The Training Center is gearing up to introduce a new Auto Care program and open a satellite location in the northern region of Haiti.
The Alumni Association is gearing up to offer workshops and tools for graduates so they are more equipped to find employment.
Through our numerous construction projects, our students and graduates will gain real-world job experience. These specialized skills will give them a leg up in the job market.
The hard hat, tool belt and work boots are Extollo's representation of the fishing pole in the Chinese proverb:
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."
Train
The hard hat symbolizes the knowledge our students gain, and how we're expanding not only the types of vocational training like Auto Care and Concrete, but our expansion to a new campus in the north of the country. We anticipate a huge demand for our trainings in 2025, particularly as many organizations restart building projects and construction companies start rehiring.
Equip
The tool belt symbolizes the knowledge our students are taking into the job market. We'll also help our graduates buy physical tools so that they show up to a job site with the mental and physical tools to succeed. We'll be providing our alumni with ongoing trainings, job search help, and continued support.
Sustain
Work boots are where our graduates hit the ground. Through our numerous construction projects, we'll be giving our students and graduates real-world job experience. And as we introduce tilt-up construction to Haiti, these workers will have a specialized skill that can also transfer to other aspects of construction.
