Concrete/Tilt-Up Foreman - Cap-Haitien Campus

Position Summary
The Concrete/Tilt-Up Foreman (CTF) is a key member of the Extollo leadership team, leading concrete construction teams for both training and construction projects in Haiti. This is a full time position located in Champin (Cap-Haitien), Haiti.

Primary Responsibilities

The critical deciding factor for a CTF to join Extollo will be the fit with the vision, mission, and values of the organization. We are seeking a construction professional of noble character with a solid skill set in concrete construction, leadership, planning and the passion to use those skills to make a life-long impact in the lives of men and women in Haiti. 

To this end, the CTF will primarily:

  • Create two (2) Concrete Place & Finish Crews of 3 to 5 people, max. 

    • Work directly with (hands-on) crews/students to teach pouring, placing, vibrating, finishing and curing concrete tilt-up panels, slabs, site work and foundation. 

  • Work with the Training Coordinator to develop and implement effective concrete training curriculum, programs, and on-the-job training. â€‹

  • Manage the enforcement and implementation of all safety procedures, and routinely inspect work, tools and equipment to ensure it is well-maintained and in safe working condition.

Reporting Relationships

Reporting to the General Contractor / Construction Lead, the CTF directly manages employees and any subcontractors on the worksite and has responsibility for the effective and efficient use of people, equipment, and time.
